I shot Ryan and Phillipa’s wedding reception with Jesse Starr Photography. I love second shooting every once in a while because it gives me a chance to see how other photographers do things and gives me new ideas on how to approach things. It is nice to stay fresh because like anything else you can get stagnant in what you are doing. Jesse was a blast to shoot with and his couple was awesome. They got married in Scotland, but were having a reception with all their family and friends here in Colorado. They were so fun and had the sweetest family. Phillipa even had a party dress that she changed into after dinner. The last shot of Ryan’s (during their very own dance) was one of my favorites. I loved the symbolism of the lasting love that they have and what they wanted to pass onto their kids. I have shot a couple times at Mile High Station and absolutely love it. The urban industrial feel is apparent in the building that dates back to 1897. Check out their awesome cake from Intricate Icings.
